I just found out that on July 5th, Admiral James Stockdale passed away.
I’m a US Navy Veteran and I’m ashamed to say that I never realized that the one-time Reform Party Vice-Presidential candidate was a true hero. Sure, I heard references to his service during the election of 1992, but it never clicked.
