Free iTunes credits and nowhere to spend them

5:47 pm on 8.23.2005 Music, Software

After reading Nick’s post about Zappa, I thought I’d finally found a home for all the iTunes credits I’ve been racking up due to my newfound Slurpee addiction. However after poking through his iMix, I found that, much to my chagrin, I’m just not sophisticated enough to appreciate Zappa’s work.

So here I sit with credits to burn by the end of September and absolutely no interest in anything I can find by poking around ITMS. I’m looking for suggestions.

If you suggest something that I end up buying, I’ll send you the code from my next Slurpee as a reward and I’ll post a link to your site which should drive at least one or two new people your way. The potential Google Adwords revenue alone should make it worth your time.

  1. Sorry to hear you didn’t like Zappa, but I’ll take a crack at this. Name a few of your favorite CDs, and I’ll see if I can recommend something you’d like.

    Favorites in no particular order:
    - The Beatles – Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band
    - Pink Floyd – Wish You Were Here
    - The Connells – Boylan Heights
    - The Prodigy – Fat of the Land
    - Fat Boy Slim – You’ve Come a Long Way Baby
    - Depeche Mode – Music for the Masses
    - Frank Sinatra – The Reprise Years
    - Jimmy Buffet – Songs You Know By Heart
    - Led Zepplin – anything
    - The Police – Outlandos d’Amour

That should be enough to get things going.

  3. Looks like some of your favorites are also my favorites (esp. Pink Floyd, Zeppelin and The Beatles).
