Comments on: gada-be FeedDemon Search definition

That’s cool, I should have thought of using that search method.

But my search def was for a FeedDemon serch channel which is different and relies on RSS output.

Fixed the link.

I also figured out that this won’t work. :) Since search results are returned as either a web page or an OPML, FeedDemon can’t do anything with it except import the OPML as a set of feeds.

I just didn’t think that through last night, darn it.

So there’s a feature request for Chris – return results as RSS.

BTW, I figured out why your FDSRCH won’t download in FD, and the problem is fixed in the next build :)
