Five Things
Here’s five things most people don’t know about me:
- I had surgery for an intussusception when I was only few months old. Because I was a baby, they had to remove my appendix just to perform the procedure.
- I failed miserably as an economics major. As interesting as I found economic theory to be, I just could not get the math. That derailed my college efforts and it took me several years to get back on the horse. My BS (in CS) would eventually arrive 10 years after I started college.
- I’ve been trying to learn to play bass for a few years, now. Apparently, you have to pick it up more often than every few months to get anywhere. I have my mom’s Les Paul copy guitar that I’ve also tried learning how to play. I think I’ll stay focused on the bass and let Connor play lead guitar.
- The guilty pleasure in my music collection is an 80’s best-of series called “Living In Obvlivion: The 80’s Greatest Hits.” While there are a few songs on the set that I don’t like, I can listen to the majority of them on any occasion and the entire collection is usually on my iPod.
- I’ve held a publicly elected office as the Republican party Precinct Committee Officer. (It was a landslide victory; I was unopposed.) I held the position when George W. Bush was first elected (don’t blame me, I voted for a different candidate). Needless to say, I’m no longer a Republican.
Tag, you’re it: Mark, Difranco, Emmet, Gordon (Correct link, now…), Tom.
Jack, it says Gordon, but it links to you :) :)
Dang it.
I was editing my entry in TopStyle when it ran afoul of a floating point error and unexpectedly terminated, taking my work of art with it. Wish I knew where I could get support for that. ;)
Link fixed.
